Entries & Exits - Concept
This concept helps a lot to move more freely on the ground and you will make you stop thinking what to do next, while moving. This technique is about learning different entries and exits in a certain position. You will learn to move without an active thought, but more to rely on the different options of movements your body stored in your muscle memory and is capable to access right on the spot. The more entries and exits you learn, the more possibilities are available. 10,20 or 50 ways in and out for a certain position! It takes a lot of practice and time but the outcome will be a lot of freedom and a meditative state of movement.
Puzzle (Playing with Patterns) - Concept
Today we taking a look on how to play and work with patterns. A good method to start with is: PUZZLE! To puzzle means to combine two or more patterns with each other to create new variations out of the same material. You will build up new possibilities and movement sequences in order to move more freely and fluid on the ground.
Connecting Element (Creating Patterns ) - Concept
In the second part we taking a look on how we can create patterns. For example: With a connecting element. In this video i chose the Hook as the connecting element. Then i worked with 3 different movements based on the Hook and connected them through the Hook position to create the pattern. This concept work with different positions and will help you a lot to get creative and build patterns and movement sequences.
